top-down capelet

Stokesay mohair on 7mm needles.

This is a close fitting capelet/poncho made top down with raglan shaping.

This is a project in Melbourne so I do some of it every fortnight.

Increase method: YO in one row, Knit yo TBL in the following row.

Cast off method: Knit 2, return to left needle SSK, K1 return both stitches to left needle SSK.  This makes a very stretchy edge so is good for the base of capelets where a tight cast off would restrict arm movement.
