This scarf has lace edges that are knitted sideways and a simple middle section. I am using 4ply wool on size 9 (3.75mm) needles.
I’m going to make the scarf narrower and shorter than the original to wear in summer. This will be a more solid scarf than the pattern that was knitted on size 7 (4.5mm) in Kid Silk Haze.
Pattern is from Victorian Lace Today.
I love the result. It worked out to be just as I had planned.
managed to complete 50% this week. It will be slow going from here as I’m leaving it in Melbourne.
