This is a simple lace scarf designed to showcase the colours in the Noro Silk Garden Lite. I wanted something geometric and balanced to co-ordinate with the stripes that would result from using this yarn. The scarf is knitted from the centre top with the top border forming the 2 ends of each row. Each row is made up of 3 border stitches, left panel, 3 centre stitches, right panel, 3 border stitches.
Note: Noro is notorious for a knot appearing in a ball with no relationship between the colours on either side of the knot. To prevent a stark colour change it may be worth rewinding the balls so that you know what you have before you start and can plan appropriately.
Yarn: 2 balls x Noro Silk Garden Lite
Needles: 5.5mm
Tension: 14st and 24 rows in pattern before blocking.
