Log cabin blanket

Bendigo classic  Bendigo rustic and Cleckheaton superwash on 4mm

I am using the technique from Mason Dixon knitting.  This project is another that is in Melbourne so not worked on very often.  I don’t know how big it will be because I will finish when I like the final product or I don’t want to do any more.

The square is now 14″, I have completed another 4 strips since the photo was taken.

I am continuing the colour sequence established but after 3 strips are added to each side I am increasing the width of the strips by 1″.

March 2010.  I have just completed the first 3 of 4 strips with 15 garter ridges, the unblocked size when I finish the last of these will be 24″ square.  To make a good size rug it will need to be 48″ square so I’m almost 25% done.
