How does it wear? Jo Sharp Alpaca Kid Lustre

Garment:  Cowl

Fibre: Kid Mohair 40%, Merino 30%, Alpaca 30%

2008 when new

Date completed: December 2008

Tension: knitted at a looser tension than recommended to provide good drape.

Washing: Handwashed, rolled in towels and dried flat.

Worn: Constantly throughout winter for 2 winters.  As this is a cowl it has not been subjected to much rubbing

Result:

2010 after wearing for 2 winters

This cowl is still beautifully soft with good stitch definiton.  There is no sign of pilling or felting but there is a definite halo as you would expect with alpaca.

I imagine wearing this cowl for many winters to come.
