How does it wear – Rowan Summer Tweed

Fibre: Cotton Silk

Date completed: April 2005

Tension: knitted at recommended tension

Washing: Hand wash and dry flat

Worn: A lot during warmer weather.

Result:

The yarn relaxed significantly on the first wash, since then it has not changed in shape or size at all.   I didn’t allow for as much growth as occured in this jumper so I hemmed the sleeves after washing.  It is wearing beautifully.  I always hand wash, roll it in towels and dry flat inside.

Still a favourite in summer.
