Playing with Noro

A few weeks ago I found this scarf post and really loved the result that she got from weaving the noro so I decided to give it go.

I used 3 balls of Noro Silk Garden Lite with  a 7.5 wpi heddle. The result is a scarf that is perfect for autumn/spring; not particularly soft but it has a really nice feel to it.  I like it better than knitting the same yarn.

The colour blending worked really well.

  1. What a beautiful scarf! I wanted to let you know that I have used silk garden in a couple of projects and while I thought it was scratchy to begin with the yarn became soft and silky after a couple of washes. Steam blocking was not enough to relax it so I suspect that it must have a lot of sizing in it.
