A measure from your knuckles to where you want the cuff to finish. (20cm)
B measure around your knuckles. (17cm)
Tension: 16st to 10cm in pattern.
Number of stitches: (A/10)*16 (32 stitches)
Cast on the number of stitches calculated above.
Knit 3 rows
Purl 3 rows
Knit 3 rows
Purl 3 rows
Continue until the piece measures B *2/3 (11cm) unstretched.
Cast off.
Sew the cast on edge to the cast off edge leaving a gap for the thumb hole
(approx 5cm).
Sew in ends.
