I had about 50g of Ixchelbunny Angora in my stash so I decided to make a scarf. I kept dropping stitches – this yarn obviously didn’t want to be scarf or wanted to be used for a new design not an existing pattern. So I gave up on patterns and made this cowl with it:
Needles: 7mm circular – 40cm (if you don’t have one, using 2 circs or magic loop will be necessary)
Yarn: 2 Skeins Ixchelbunny Angora (alternatively use a thick handspun or bulky weight soft yarn)approx 100m.
Tension 14st/10cm
Pattern:
Cast on 70 stitches and place marker for end of round.
Border:
Knit 1 round
Purl 1 round
Round 3: (k2tog yo) 35 times
Round 4: knit
Round 5 Purl.
Body
Knit all rows (stocking stitch) for 12cm (~5″)
Repeat border.
Cast off loosely.
